PLOTO at TRA2024

The Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2024, held in Dublin, Ireland from April 15 to April 18, emerged as a pivotal moment for the transportation and mobility sector. Among the array of projects and inventive solutions showcased, PLOTO stood out in the hub dedicated to inland waterways transport at the etp-ALICE stand, alongside its sister projects, ReNEW and CRISTAL.

Throughout the event, attendees had the privilege to read about PLOTO’s concepts and state-of-the-art technologies at booth AL112, strategically positioned alongside the CRISTAL project.

TRA connected researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders, providing a platform where ideas are conceived, nurtured, and translated into tangible solutions that shape the future of mobility. From unveiling the latest transportation trends sweeping across Europe to showcasing the pioneering initiatives spearheaded by forward-thinking companies, TRA offered a comprehensive insight into the dynamic transportation ecosystem.

Notably, two key partners of PLOTO, David Foldes from BME and Nikolaos Tsampieris from ERTICO, joined forces and attended the event, further bolstering the collaborative spirit driving PLOTO’s vision forward.
