The PLOTO project had the pleasure of participating in the 6th Panhellenic Conference on Earthquake Engineering and Technical Seismology (6PSAMTS), held in Athens on 30 October – 1 November 2025.
The conference brought together researchers, engineers, and practitioners working in seismic risk, structural resilience, and earthquake engineering, providing an excellent forum to present ongoing work and exchange knowledge with the wider community.
We are pleased to announce that several of PLOTO’s contributions presented at the conference are now publicly available (in Greek) on our Zenodo Community, ensuring open access and long-term preservation of our research outputs.
The following documents are currently available:
- Μεθοδολογία πύκνωσης αποτελεσμάτων ανάλυσης πολλαπλών λωρίδων σε εφαρμογές της αντισεισμικής μηχανικής (Methodology for densifying the multi stripe analysis results in earthquake engineering applications) here
Σεισμική αναταξιμότητα και προσομοίωμα επιχειρησιακής λειτουργίας του ποτάμιου λιμένα του Γκαλάτσι στη Ρουμανία (Seismic resilience and business operation model of the inland Port of Galati in Romania.) here - Επιρροή της λειτουργικής κατάστασης στη σεισμική διακινδύνευση πετρελαϊκών εγκαταστάσεων (Influence of operational status on seismic risk of oil facilities) here
- Αποάθροιση σεισμικής τρωτότητας κατασκευών: Παραδείγματα σε βιομηχανικές εγκαταστάσεις (Disaggregation of seismic fragility curves for structures: Examples in industrial facilities) here
- Εξαγωγή καμπυλών σεισμικής τρωτότητας για συνιστώσες κλάσεων κατασκευών μέσω βαθμωτών μέτρων επιτελεστικότητας (Derivation of seismic vulnerability curves for structural class components through scalar performance measures) here.
Participating in 6PSAMTS allowed PLOTO to:
-
Share project research with the Greek and international earthquake-engineering community
-
Receive valuable feedback from experts in seismic hazard, structural vulnerability, and risk assessment
-
Strengthen collaborations with academic and industry partners
-
Contribute to broader scientific dialogue on infrastructure resilience
By publishing our contributions on Zenodo, we also ensure:
-
Open access for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers
-
Citation-ready outputs with persistent DOIs
-
Long-term preservation of project results
-
Alignment with European open-science and FAIR-data principles
