On 20-24, March the community of experts of Inland Waterways will gather in Brussels and online for the 2023 Inland Navigation Week. The PLOTO project will be showcased by Dr Dimitrios Liparas, the project coordinator, together with its sister projects under the “Autonomous sailing and Resilience clusters” on Tuesday 21/03/2023.
The event represents an opportunity to get a more comprehensive understanding of the role, possibilities, and benefits of inland waterway transport (IWT) in creating a more sustainable, resilient, and connected European transportation system. It consists of a series of incisive and thought-provoking activities intended to highlight strategies for advancing sustainable transportation, lowering CO2 emissions, and boosting IWT’s competitiveness. You have the option of attending all of the “Inland Navigation Week 2023” events or just the ones that appeal to you.
The target of this week is policymakers, regulators, business professionals, industry experts, and everyone else interested in how IWT might play a significant role in Europe’s green, resilient, and interconnected transportation system should attend this event.
